In light of current events, we thought it prudent to update our wider family in the goings-on at CASTL.

As you know, until now our current business model has been 100% live, immersive events for live, engaged people. We find ourselves in a new era; one of looking for engagement, escapism and artistic fulfilment in spite of the current situation.

Firstly, I want to say We're Not Going Anywhere.

We must weather this storm; CASTL will be ready for you whenever NZ is ready to reembrace live performance.

We're as excited as you are to be in a position to be moving in the right direction with our alert levels.

In light of this, we are expanding to facilitate your live streaming needs.

We are now in a position to provide a multi-camera video for your event including programmable remote focus cameras. This can be livestreamed with your preferred service, recorded for distribution, and/or provided as a multi-track. As always, every build is 100% bespoke and designed around your requirements.

Naturally we also have our full lighting and sound production available and can optimise this for video.

We will still maintain our hire stock; let us know if there's anything you need. Rest assured, all contact surfaces will be disinfected, in and out of the warehouse

Further to this, we are proud to offer cable and equipment cleaning and servicing; we can clean and disinfect your control surfaces, cable, audio, lighting and video gear inside and out, as well as our repair services. Our team can remove and reinstall your equipment if required.

The safety of our clients, staff, performers and audiences is paramount, as is supporting NZ's effort to quash COVID19.

As part of our mission to engage with our community in a safe way, we have enacted significant new H&S policies to enable us to operate in L3 through L1, safely. These include:

>Disinfecting performance spaces

>Cleaning and disinfecting microphones, headsets and lavs before and after each use

>Handheld and Headset Microphone wind socks will be replaced and disposed of between performers

>Maintaining separation of staff, and staff groupings

>Disinfecting tools used twice daily

>Separating performances and cleaning equipment as required to maintain performer bubbles

>Ensuring adequate rest time for staff to minimise fatigue

>Cleaning all equipment as it enters and leaves the warehouse

>Techie Breckie - pancakes with a side of mental health

Please do contact us if you have any specific questions or requests around this; we are happy to discuss or customise around your needs.

As always, we're in this together. For art.
